Pick of the Blogs Summer 2013

I’ve been asked to find short wedding dresses by a few people now, so I’ve been trawling the best blogs and websites for you over the summer. If you’re also looking for plus-size wedding gowns, these links should be a great starting point.

Here are a few of the really good websites I’ve come across recently:

1. The Big Day

The Big Day is Yorkshire’s premier dedicated fuller figure bridal boutique. They offer designer dresses in sizes 18 to 32, and also bridesmaid dresses up to size 32. This is a lovely dress and is also available in full length.

2. Unique Vintage

If you want something different, or perhaps looking for a retro feel to your day, then this is the site for you. Here’s a couple of gorgeous examples available in sizes S to 3X.

4. Charlotte Balbier

Charlotte’s dresses are definitely my favourite, but it’s not clear what sizes are available – although I do know she produces a range of 16+ gowns. Here’s a couple of beautiful dresses from the collections ‘A Decade of Style’ and ‘Hall of Fame’.

I hope these links are of help to you in your quest for the perfect wedding gown. I’ll try to add to them when I come across more on my (online) travels and I’ll see what I can find in the non-designer stores too. Keep looking back for more coming soon. X
